Shaping the EU Post-2010 Lisbon Strategy

 

The Eurociett leaflet issued today sets out 5 key priorities, which should form an integral part of the next EU Growth and Jobs Strategy (Post-2010 Lisbon Strategy9, namely:

• To raise employment levels and enhance labour market participation.
  
  
• To promote inclusive labour markets and facilitating labour market access
  
  
• To reconcile flexibility and work security (Flexicurity)
  
  
• To upgrade skills and qualifications.
  
  
• To promote work mobility at all levels

For each of these dimensions, the agency work industry can provide an important contribution in working towards better functioning labour markets in Europe. Against this context, Eurociett puts forward a series of recommendations and proposals that should be implemented at European, national and local level.
