Eurociett Position on EU-2020 Strategy published

Eurociett advocates that the new stratey should fully recognise the contribution of agency work to labour market participation and social inclusion.

In its submission to the public consultation, Eurociett advocates that the new strategy should include 5 key employment policy priorites:

  • Enhancing labour market participation
  • Facilitating access to the labour market
  • Implementing Flexicurity policies
  • Enhancing skills and qualifications
  • Promoting work mobility

The Eurociett Position on the Consultation and a complementary Eurociett leaflet illustrate the contribution of the agency work industry to better functioning labour markets in these 5 key dimensions and put forward policy recommendations for each policy priority.

More information on the role of agency work in the framework of the EU Employment Strategy is also available in the Public Affairs section of our website.
