The information provided by Eurociett for its contribution to the European Commission Monthly Labour Market Monitor shows the evolution of the agency work market based on the number of hours worked by agency workers compared with the same month in the previous year. Information is gathered from seven European Union Member States (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Italy1 and Germany2). Also included is details of the evolution in turnover3 (also compared to the same month in the previous year) for five European Union Member States (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Spain).

3 Defined as the revenues generated by private employment agencies in the temporary staffing segment in one country.
